Develop processes for grinding, EDM, and other manufacturing techniques on high-temperature turbine airfoil components and other machined engine parts. Please note this is a development lab. As we explore technologies, the ability to embrace and pursue new expertise is required.s. Coordinate and collaborate on projects with the Additive Manufacturing Labs. Create work instructions utilizing Teamcenter and MES 2.0. Implement new capital equipment from specification and ordering through delivery, installation, and transition to production. Manage projects and schedules for all work going through the lab. Work from data such as solid models, part, and tool drawings, including part models with PMI. Support Manufacturing Process councils including technology development. Apply advanced knowledge of cutting tool applications and design for complex part designs and high-temperature materials.
