As a Wheeled Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in keeping our Army's vehicles and equipment running smoothly. This position involves supervising and performing maintenance, repair, and recovery operations on a variety of wheeled and selected armored vehicles pivotal for our mission success. You will have the opportunity to work with heating and cooling systems, vehicle mechanics, and even aircraft, heavy equipment, and watercraft.

You'll gain valuable skills in Maintenance & Repairs, Electronic Troubleshooting, and Electrical Systems, with access to 124 nationally recognized certifications to enhance your career!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Army vehicles and machinery are operational and safe.
  • Inspect, service, maintain, repair, replace, adjust, and test wheeled vehicles and their various systems, including material handling equipment and automotive electrical systems.

Requirements:

  • Complete 10 weeks of Basic Training.
  • Undergo 14 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Aged between 17 to 34 years old.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Adhere to tattoo guidelines.
  • No major law violations.
  • No medical disqualifications.
