Primary Job Title: Patient Care Technician Location: Kenwood, OH (Onsite) Shift/Work Schedule: Not Specified Date Posted: 07/31/2025 Employment Type: Contract (2 months) Salary Range: $27 - $28/Hour Job Description The Patient Care Technician provides direct care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role is responsible for accurately documenting patient treatment information and supporting the nursing staff during dialysis procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care under supervision
- Document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets
- Assist licensed nurse with pre- and post-dialysis assessments and related documentation
- Report significant changes in patient condition to the supervisor
- Assist with emergency operational procedures
- Respond to emergency situations and initiate CPR when necessary
Experience
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred, but not required
- Must successfully complete a hemodialysis training course
- CPR certification required
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Education in physical sciences and/or laboratory techniques preferred
