CAD Engineer – Millwork Division

The CAD Engineer is responsible for creating detailed millwork drawings and engineering documents that guide the production and installation of custom woodwork, cabinetry, and architectural millwork. This role works closely with project managers, and shop floor staff, buildable designs that meet both aesthetic and structural specifications. Key Responsibilities Create detailed CAD drawings for shop fabrication and field installation based on architectural plans, design intent drawings, and specifications. Prepare cut lists, hardware schedules, and CNC-ready files. Interpret architectural and interior design drawings with attention to millwork details. Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and shop to resolve design challenges. Apply industry standards such as AWI and ADA requirements in engineering documentation if needed. Ensure files are compatible with machinery (e.g., Holzher, Biesse, Ganno Mat).
