The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center offers both inpatient and outpatient services, including several outreach centers as well as clinic- and community-based services. The Focus of the Assertive Community Treatment TeamThe Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) provides intensive wraparound services to adults with serious mental illness. Clients working with this team have commonly experienced recent hospitalization, incarceration, crisis services, housing instability, or a combination of these. This team is primarily community-based.Where You Fit InThe Clinician performs a variety of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices. This position manages a caseload of clients identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative and case management needs, engaging other team members in meeting these needs as indicated.What To ExpectAs a clinician on our ACT team, you'll spend most of your time in the community meeting clients where they are, including in their homes, residential facilities, boarding homes, and other community locations.
