Information Position Summary The Development Officer assists in developing and implementing the fundraising effort of the Advancement division; identifies, cultivates, and solicits prospects for philanthropic gifts by developing comprehensive giving proposals and other aspects necessary to obtain external funding; consults with current and prospective donors regarding philanthropic gift opportunities; engages the institutions donors while expanding the major donor pool; works closely with University and division leadership to develop and execute strategy for meeting fundraising goals. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree 3-5 years fundraising experience or equivalent experience (higher ed experience preferred)Experience working with diverse populations.
