Join our team as an Aircraft Assembly Technician, where you will be responsible for assembling, modifying, and installing aircraft components, sub-assemblies, and structural assemblies. Your expertise in basic sheet metal, riveting, assembly methods, and common shop practices will ensure that all components meet customer requirements. Responsibilities. Work with blueprints, specifications, and work orders to meet quality requirements. Complete required data gathering to facilitate assembly progress. Set up and run various shop equipment, including squeezes, precision measuring tools, drill motors, and countersink cutters. Troubleshoot any problems that occur while continually looking for process improvements. Perform any required rework or changes during the assembly process. Assemble major components of sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and smaller bench work assemblies. Move and obtain correct parts, materials, tools, and assemblies. Essential Skills.
