Staffmark is seeking Materials Support Technicians to join a leading manufacturing team in Alexandria, MN. - 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- 4th Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM (Work 36 hours, get paid for 40)
Responsibilities:
- Perform packing, trailer loading, material handling, and aging of materials
- Set up and operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure product quality by inspecting and monitoring throughout the process
- Handle billet receiving, scrap bin dumping, and basket distribution to/from press lines
- Load trailers and operate cranes safely
- Support press operations and ensure proper materials and spacers are available
- Perform product inspections before aging and check hardness by alloy and temper
- Maintain cleanliness and organization using the 5S system
- Follow company guidelines and quality standards at all times
- Demonstrate leadership and uphold company values on the production floor
Requirements:
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift and crane experience strongly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
