We hope you'll join us!Pay for this position is $22 per hourHours are Mon-Thur 5am-4pm, OT as neededWhat We're SeekingA highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food safety and quality, as well as a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)Food Safety and Quality:Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials according to company and regulatory standardsAssist in preparing the production line for shift start-up. This includes bringing scales, O2/CO2 analyzer, trays, and utensils.Follow all GMPs and is responsible for monitoring GMP practices in the production rooms.Monitors line and equipment cleanliness prior to the start of day and after each break notifying the Line Controller or Production Lead of any issues.Conducts portion control weights including machine adjustments, net weights, MAP checks, scale accuracy, label checks and quality checks at the line according to standard work.GMP and Safety:Cooperate with all aspects of the safety program at E. A. Sween CompanyCompletes all personal safety and food safety/GMP related training.Report near miss & hazardous conditions to my supervisor or the safety team.
