About The PositionAdelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to perform advanced vocational nursing services at a facility in Lubbock County, Texas. The ideal LVN will provide treatment, support, and general welfare services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral needs.Job Quick Facts:

Requirements:
- Current and unencumbered LVN license issued in the State of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred in long-term or developmental care
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Meet all immunization requirements as outlined by the agency and facility
- Must pass a urine drug screen and background check
- Must successfully complete an FBI fingerprint background check
- Negative COVID-19 test required
- Completion of all pre-employment training mandated by the agency and facility
- Valid photo ID must be presented at the time of interview
- TB documentation must be provided at the time of interview
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Monitor patients' health and promptly report changes to the supervising RN or physician
- Accurately document care activities and complete computer-based data entry (training provided)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (e.g., ICF-IDD, facility SOPs)
- Deliver compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
