They observe and evaluate patient responses. This role ensures patient safety by understanding needs and assisting with encounters.Essential Functions of the RoleConduct clinical assessments maintaining the highest standard of practice.Be proactive in designing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.Take part in initiatives to improve quality and performance.Build therapeutic relationships with both patient and family.Engage in collaborative and mutual work with colleagues and the community.Key Success FactorsYou need a good understanding of nursing standards and patient care.Understanding legal and ethical considerations is important for success.Good communication skills are essential.You must be a problem solver who can quickly detect and react to changes in patients.You will also need to know how to use computers and medical software.Belonging StatementWe believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve.QualificationsCompletion of an associates degree in nursing from an accredited institution.A minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.Holding an effective Registered Nurse licensure.Must have Basic Life Support certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting the job.
