Medicus has partnered with a facility in central New York that has an opportunity for a skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum weekend coverage.Opportunity Details:Schedule: 12 or 24-hour weekend shiftsLevel III NICU, 16 bedsDaily Volume: 8-9 patients, 0-2 admissionsRequired Procedures: Vent management, ETT, BiPAP, CPAP, chest tube insertion, central and arterial line insertion, UAC/UVC placement, lumbar punctures, etc.Will attend c-sectionsWill assist in the Level I well-baby nurserySupport Staff: Neonatologists, APPsRequired Supervision: NICU RNs and ancillary staff as neededEMR: EpicMust be board-certifiedPaid travel & expensesDuring your time off, catch a performance at a historic theater, bike or walk along a lakeside trail, and tour a regional science and technology center.If you are interested in learning more, please apply.WAC - 62525
