Job Description :
This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms and general areas according to established departmental practices and standards. The Housekeeper supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service to co-workers, patients and visitors. The Housekeeper cleans patient rooms and general areas, makes beds, removes trash and linen in occupied and unoccupied rooms in accordance with departmental procedures. The Housekeeper performs cycle cleaning and furniture placement as directed. Through effective communication and cooperative teamwork, the Housekeeper provides assistance to supervisors and co-workers as necessary. The Housekeeper responds to patient and visitor inquiries in a courteous manner. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Ability to read, write, and speak English is required. High School Diploma preferred.
