Position Summary

Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in-stock inventory levels. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Models and enforces customer service standards, providing guidance to associates to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution within company guidelines.

What you'll do

• Supervise and develop associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition.
• Provide consultation and education to members/customers, maintaining confidentiality, and performing minor repairs.
• Support company policies, foster a culture of belonging, and build high-performing teams.
• Build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and motivate staff.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and support Walmart's mission and values.
• Act with integrity, promoting transparency, fairness, and accountability.
• Deliver excellent customer service, making decisions based on data and analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement and support technological adoption.

Minimum Qualifications

Completion of 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience including 1 year optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.

Preferred Qualifications

Supervising associates.
