Tyto Athene is seeking a Property Manager - Journeyman to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Track property location, usage, and condition using asset management systems.
- Update inventories regularly to comply with government property regulations and FAR guidelines.
- Prepare and submit reports such as audits, inventory reports, and compliance documents.
- Coordinate with compliance officers to resolve audit and inventory issues.
- Manage acquisition and disposal of government property tied to contract deliverables.
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and risk mitigation to preserve property condition.
- Align property management with project timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure proper property management for project success.
- Review budgets and propose cost-effective property management solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 4-9 years of experience in property or asset management, preferably in DoD or federal settings.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DoD property policies.
- Experience with automated property management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory tools.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience supporting defense property management.
- Familiarity with Government Property clause, Earned Value Management, and DoD logistics systems.
- Certifications such as CPPA, ITIL v4, or DAU Property Management training.
Clearance and Certifications
- Secret clearance required, with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- DoD 8570 certifications, including Security+ CE.
