Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology, and Telecom, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, is seeking an Energy Engineer for a long-term contract with one of our global medical device clients in Jacksonville, FL.

As an Energy Engineer placed with Kelly, you will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Deliver annual energy budget recommendations for the facility and quarterly budget versus actual updates.
- Report energy consumption, carbon footprint, energy programs and projects, and other relevant content in Citizenship & Sustainability Report, CDP Report, and other public disclosures.
- Track and report implementation of energy and CO2 reduction projects to customer.
- Develop processes, standards, roles & responsibilities, and other documentation to govern the energy program, its suppliers, and customers.
- Develop guidance on energy issues and technology as necessary.
- Provide strategic guidance on creation of public sustainability goals and maintain involvement with NGO's and partner companies that are aligned with our goals.
- Utilize cutting-edge energy efficiency technologies and practices to help identify opportunities, drive down costs, conserve energy, and improve the environmental performance for Electronic Systems.
- Recommend Enhancements that affect the bottom line by effectively managing energy, water and waste through design and operation of its facilities.
- Develop facility plans and work with external vendors to develop and implement energy and utility efficiency projects.
- Work with teams to develop project feasibility based on economic, environmental and social aspects.
- Analysis to include parameters such as total project cost, return on investment, payback period, total cost of ownership, life cycle cost, energy conserved, water conserved, waste reduced, etc.
- Conduct energy use assessments for a facility with multiple uses.
- Analyze site metrics and draw conclusions as to efficient utility management.
Required Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with Energy efficiency programs.
