Specializing in sewer, water main, roadwork, and site development, PCC serves a wide range of public agencies including DOT, DEP, DDC, DPR, EDC, and SCA.

Your new role

They are currently seeking a qualified Heavy Civil Utility Superintendent to join their team for a high-profile infrastructure project. The successful candidate will lead field operations and on-site crews, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of utility work. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep experience in underground utilities and a strong understanding of NYC agency standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction
• Expertise in utility work, including storm/wastewater sewer and water main systems
• Familiarity with SOE methods, dewatering, and private utility coordination (e.g., Con Ed)
• Experience with NYCDDC projects and NYC labor union rules
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple crews, subcontractors, and project logistics
• Proficiency in material procurement, layout, inspections, and quality control
• Valid driver's license and strong computer skills
