In this role, you will be responsible for setting forms, placing, and finishing concrete for a wide range of construction projects. If you have a solid background in concrete work and are ready to put your experience to work on high-impact projects, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities* Complies with all applicable standards, policies and procedures, including safety procedures in the performance of assigned tasks.* Facilitates the pouring of the concrete by positioning delivery truck.* Moves discharge chute of truck to direct concrete into forms.* Spreads concrete into inaccessible sections of forms with rake or shovel.* Levels concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, with hand held screed and floats to bring water to surface and produce soft topping.* Smoothes and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete.What Were Looking For* Proven experience in form setting and concrete finishing (journeyman level)* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings a plus* Strong understanding of concrete tools and finishing techniques* Safety-focused with reliable work habits* Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as neededWhy Join HWH?At Harrison, Walker & Harper (HWH), we believe that without a solid foundation, nothing can stand not buildings, and not company culture.
