You'll work closely with your crew to prepare roads and surfaces for repaving-helping deliver safe, high-quality results.This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and ready to take on physical, hands-on work in a team environment.What You'll Do* Operate a milling machine to remove and grind asphalt or pavement from roads and surfaces* Safely transport and set up milling equipment at job sites* Prepare work areas by clearing debris and obstacles* Follow project plans and guidelines to ensure accuracy* Perform precise milling work to meet quality standards* Conduct regular equipment checks and basic maintenance* Support laborers, pavers, and flaggers during project operations* Communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates* Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols* Maintain a valid Ohio Class A CDLWhat You Bring to the Table* High school diploma or equivalent required* Strong mechanical skills and experience with heavy equipment* Familiarity with construction tools and job site protocols* Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance* Flexibility to work long hours in varying weather conditions* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle physically demanding work* Strong teamwork and communication skills* Professionalism when representing the company on job sitesUnion membership is required for this position.What We Offer* Company-paid/discounted YMCA membership* Dental and vision insurance (medical offered through the Laborers' Union)* Traditional and Roth 401(k) Plan* A supportive and growth-oriented work culture* Opportunities for professional development and career advancement* Stability and rewarding livelihood for you and your familyJoin our team and be part of a company that values safety, teamwork, and professional growth!Precision Paving, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
