Key Responsibilities:Serve as the department lead for Microbiology, overseeing workflows, compliance, and quality standards
Perform advanced microbiology testing and interpretations in a CAP-accredited lab
Provide technical and operational supervision, acting as a resource for the laboratory team
Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support accurate and timely diagnostic outcomes
Troubleshoot instruments, mentor staff, and support continuous improvement in the department
