The Sales Specialist – Hygiene will be responsible for sales in Vermont, parts of New York & potentially some surrounding states. This position will represent the sales, technical support, and marketing for hygiene and supplies products, exclusively in their designated area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned:
- Focus on hygiene and supplies product line sales support in the Northeast.
- Support dealers in servicing existing customers and assist with all phases of the sales process including on farm wash and milk quality analysis.
- Grow territory total sales by assisting dealers with all aspects of the sales process.
- Responsible for the administration of the hygiene & supplies product/sales and training programs for dealers within assigned territory.
- Must learn and maintain extensive product knowledge for the product line.
- Responsible for reporting and evaluating any product performance issues.
- Assist the dealers with hygiene & supplies product knowledge, competitive comparisons, quoting and ordering procedures.
- Communicate with management by means of call reports, expense reports, progress reports and sales forecasts.
- Coordinate and maintain regular communication with R&D, Product Management, and Marketing departments to achieve the best possible synergies within the company.
- Consistently monitor competitive offers regarding scope, price, market share, and competitor profiles and share the information with other departments.
- Analyze customer satisfaction by talking to customers, sales, technical support, and quality management; define market/customer expectations and report result to other departments.
- Supply dealers with marketing information, literature, catalogs, prices, warranty policies; inform them of any product changes and policy updates for the product line.
- Attend trade shows when needed to assist dealers as well as work corporate shows.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,000 - $93,000 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
