PNS Outpatient Clinical Position

The PNS Outpatient Clinical Position (OCP) can be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). The OCP will be responsible for the care and treatment of patients in a medical practice setting as directed by a physician. The CSS will ensure that quality care is provided to all patients and is responsible for maintaining confidential records of vital statistics and other pertinent data. The OCP will notify patients of diagnostic test results, ensure that clients receive appropriate follow-up care, and educate patients to assure understanding of physician s orders effectively. The OCP will perform duties including but not limited to; rooming patients in a timely manner, recording nursing notes, vital signs, weight, etc., and coordinating care within the office team.
