Qualifications:- General experience with basic repairs, maintenance, or custodial work preferred
- Willingness to learn and be trained on the job
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and perform manual labor
- Must be available for 'on-call' duties as needed
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for vulnerable adults
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license required
- Must pass a background check
Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs on facility systems
- Conduct daily safety and maintenance inspections throughout the building
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
- Maintain and repair equipment, furniture, fixtures, and appliances
- Oversee floor care, including stripping/waxing floors and shampooing carpets/furniture
- Handle groundskeeping tasks such as weed trimming, lawn care, snow removal, and general seasonal upkeep
- Assist with event setups, furniture moving, and general facility support
- Manage inventory and supplies in coordination with the Director of Facilities
