The Opportunity

A vacancy has arisen for a Project Manager in Downers Grove, IL.

This role directs the end-to-end commercialization and launch of new products for an assigned brand or category, ensuring delivery within specified time, cost, and quality parameters. The Commercialization Project Manager acts as a strategic interface between cross-functional teams—including R&D, Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Supply Chain—and the business, driving alignment between product launch strategies and organizational goals. This individual manages multiple programs of varying complexity and ensures effective coordination across 10+ stakeholders.

The Skills you will bring to the team

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, quality, logistics, operations management, business, accounting, finance, or marketing.
• Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP) highly desirable.
• 5+ years of business experience, including 3+ years in project management within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
• Proven experience directing the end-to-end commercialization of new products.
• Strong technical aptitude and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Highly communicative and proactive in problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and team accountability.
• Experience with Stage-Gate/Innovation Governance processes.
• Familiarity with SmartSheet and SharePoint team site maintenance.
• Experience conducting trainings and implementing business process optimization.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver commercialization projects aligned with revenue, growth, cost, and quality goals.
• Define project scopes, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.
• Resolve conflicts and facilitate decision-making across functions.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Present project updates and timelines to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Ensure risk assessments and contingency plans are in place and activated when necessary.
• Document key learnings and enable best practice sharing across teams.

Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in IL. The annual salary for IL based employees for this role is $80,000 - $115,000 plus an annual bonus. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
