Job Description
Lead and develop process engineering, project engineering, and maintenance teams to drive process improvements, reliability, and technology advancement, supporting continuous improvement aligned with site priorities.Promote safety as the highest value through training, project management, and EHS responsibilities.Manage project planning, communication, and execution to meet time, cost, and results targets.Oversee cost control and capital project portfolio to achieve financial targets.Prioritize initiatives for process engineering and maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment.Use analytical tools to identify and execute projects focused on safety, quality, cost, productivity, and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align process improvements and project objectives with division and plant goals.Coordinate with site functions including EHS, Quality, Operations, Finance, and HR, as well as divisional functions like Divisional EHS, Quality, Engineering, R&D, and Legal.Set guidance for external contractor management for projects and services.Assist in managing work order systems, spare parts, tools, and inventory to minimize downtime and costs.Support development of maintenance technicians and process engineers.Provide hands-on support and mentorship to engineering and maintenance staff.Participate as a member of the plant leadership team, with leadership responsibilities beyond primary functions.Conduct training, mentoring, performance planning, and feedback for team development.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.At least 5 years of experience in process engineering, plant maintenance, or engineering leadership.Experience with TPM program implementation or management.Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, automation, PLCs, sensors, and motor controls.Exposure to Six Sigma or Lean methodologies; Black Belt or Green Belt certification preferred.Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.Excellent teamwork, organization, and computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, Google, AODocs, MINITAB, AutoCAD, and Rockwell RS software.Additional Information
