Position Overview

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a client to find an experienced Collections Attorney for a dynamic legal team in Denver, CO. This role focuses on landlord-tenant law and is a fully in-office position. It offers an exciting opportunity for an attorney with at least one year of experience who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is passionate about client advocacy.

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in landlord-tenant debt collection matters, including court appearances and negotiations.
  • Manage a caseload involving litigation, negotiation, and client communication.
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Appear in court regularly for hearings, trials, and mediations.
Qualifications
  • Active Colorado law license in good standing (required).
  • 1+ years of experience in debt collection, landlord-tenant law, or related litigation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fully in-office environment.
Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary of $70,000 structured at $33.66 per hour.

Additional Details

This is a contract to hire role with an expected transition into a permanent position 3-5 months after starting the initial assignment.
