Position Title: Project Coordinator (2 openings)
Location: Lafayette, LA (hybrid)
Position Status: Long-term Contract
Position Description: The Project Coordinator will provide support across the IT organization on cross functional initiatives. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
General Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and coordinate cross functional projects, including security assessments.
- Assist in work intake, ppm maintenance, and coordination for the Operational Excellence team.
- Monitor and maintain centralized IT PMO repository (to include but not limited to project documentation, processes, templates, communications, status updates, etc.)
- Assist with vendor onboarding process for designated Major Projects
- Administration of the IT Project Portfolio Management tool.
- Monthly internal audits around IT PMO Managed Projects.
- Assist in development and delivery of project financial reports.
- Management of small projects assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Education: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to produce status updates and reports on a predefined basis
- Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of project management tools
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to ensure adequate, efficient and timely delivery of projects in a matrix team environment
- Maintain quality standards while working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Displayed dedication to ensure successful completion of critical and highly visible deliverables
- Ability to quickly problem solve

- Awareness of related Project Management software tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 – 5 years Administrative experience in high-volume, fast-paced environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of this role
Certificates and Licenses:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus not required
