Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) Manager to build and lead a best-in-class SIOP process from the ground up. This highly visible and cross-functional role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving an integrated SIOP process to align demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and business forecasting across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and deep experience in cross-functional planning and change management. Key Responsibilities
- Design & Implement SIOP Process: Lead the development and execution of a scalable SIOP framework, including governance, cadence, data integration, and performance metrics.
- Facilitate Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central liaison between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment on demand and supply plans.
- Own the SIOP Calendar: Establish and manage monthly and quarterly SIOP cycles, driving accountability and execution of key deliverables from all stakeholders.
- Forecasting & Analytics: Develop tools, dashboards, and models to support data-driven decision-making; analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to drive accurate forecasting.
- Inventory Optimization: Lead efforts to balance inventory levels with service targets and working capital goals; identify opportunities to reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare and present key insights, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic planning and business reviews.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor performance metrics (forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, etc.) and lead root cause analyses and corrective actions.
- Systems & Tools: Partner with IT and planning teams to evaluate and implement systems/tools to enable the SIOP process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand/supply planning, or operations.
- Proven experience building or transforming an SIOP or IBP process in a manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel, ERP, and planning systems
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills; able to lead discussions with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
- Strong project management skills and a continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma preferred).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage ambiguity.
