Vice President of Service Construction (Electrical)

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Service Construction to lead and grow our electrical service division in Austin, TX. This executive-level role is ideal for a strategic leader with a strong background in electrical project management, 24/7 service operations, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Division Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the service construction division, including operations, staffing, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Project Management: Lead and support complex electrical construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability.
- 24/7 Service Department Oversight: Manage a high-performing, around-the-clock service team, ensuring rapid response and customer satisfaction.
- Sales & Client Development: Drive business development efforts, build client relationships, and identify new revenue opportunities in the service market.
- Cost-to-Complete Forecasting: Implement and maintain accurate cost-to-complete projections and financial reporting for all service projects.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop project managers, service technicians, and support staff to ensure operational excellence and career growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the electrical construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or division manager role.
- Proven track record managing 24/7 service departments and delivering high-quality electrical solutions under tight deadlines.
- Strong background in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrated success in sales and client relationship management within the construction or electrical services sector.
- Expertise in cost-to-complete forecasting and financial oversight of service projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
