It develops and manufactures multifunctional, lightweight components for optimum noise and heat protection. The Company is organized into four business groups by region: Business Group Europe, Business Group North America, Business Group Asia, and Business Group SAMEA (South America, Middle East and Africa). This position will be a full-time onsite position located in our manufacturing facility in Norwalk, Ohio.

The Warehouse Manager will lead and oversee the warehouse within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all warehouse activities, including material management, shipping and receiving activities, inventory management and continuous improvement activities. The Warehouse Manager reports to the Logistics Manager and will ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyzing material & finish goods movements and ensuring all departments as production or quality will have materials available in the right quantity and in the right time as needed to not interrupt production.
  • Oversee our Outbound/ Shipping operations.
  • The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge in dispatching and customer service procedures.
  • Analyzing on time shipments and customer backlog and lead the shipping department. The position includes overseeing of the SAP modules MM, WM and SD. This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager.
  • Train, mentor and develop Logistics clerks, receiving, attendants, & supervisors.
  • Planning, organizing, and prioritizing work according to production schedules/daily requirements.
  • Ensure clear communication across all shifts/ departments pertaining to customer deliveries.
  • Continuous improvement of inventory levels in warehouse through SAP.
  • Creating, implementing, and auditing Operation Description Sheet (work instructions) for warehouse department.
  • Planning, administration of warehouse layout and management and material flow.

Credentials and Experience:

  • 2 years of proved experience in Warehousing, Supply Chain or logistics
  • Degree in Supply Chain/Industrial Engineer / Business Administrator with focus on Logistics / or equivalent experience in the Warehouse management is preferred.
  • Proven Managerial experience.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and shipping management system in SAP is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
