We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Scientist to support environmental fieldwork and reporting activities. This role involves conducting environmental sampling, site assessments, and hazardous materials surveys. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science or geology and a passion for fieldwork and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field sampling of soil, groundwater, and soil vapor in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) to identify potential environmental liabilities.
  • Carry out surveys for asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP).
  • Prepare technical reports, data tables, and figures to support environmental evaluations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in environmental consulting or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and sampling protocols.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to travel locally for field assignments, including occasional overnight stays.
