Job Title: Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction

Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager with a strong background in heavy civil construction to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure and site development projects throughout the Cincinnati region. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing field operations, budgets, schedules, and client relationships from project start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full project lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and closeout
- Coordinate with field teams, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, address challenges, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery
- Maintain detailed job cost tracking and reporting
- Prepare and manage change orders, RFI responses, and submittals
- Ensure all work meets contract requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear project communication
- Support estimating and preconstruction efforts when needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil, site development, or infrastructure construction
- Strong understanding of earthwork, utilities, concrete, grading, and structural scopes
- Ability to lead field crews and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in project management and scheduling software (e.g., HCSS, Procore, MS Project, P6)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing public works or municipal projects
- Familiarity with ODOT or similar agency specifications
- OSHA 30-hour certification
