Job Description :

We are seeking dependable, compassionate individuals to join our dining services team at the Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne. We currently have part-time, food service openings, working 20 - 24 hours per week. Our Dining Services Members are responsible for assisting in the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals in accordance with facility guidelines and residents' dietary needs. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to the menu and dietary requirements
  • Ensure proper portion control and food safety procedures are followed
  • Deliver and retrieve food trays in a timely and courteous manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and storage areas
  • Assist with dishwashing and sanitizing kitchen equipment
  • Follow all food handling and sanitation procedures according to local health department guidelines
  • Interact with residents and staff in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Must pass background check and health screening requirements
Schedule and Compensation:
  • Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Competitive hourly wage based on experience
