Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 08/18/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: CT Technologist Department: Radiology Diagnostic Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373 Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Pay Rate: $ 70 - $ 75 per hour on W2 Position Overview: we are is seeking a CT Technologist with experience in diagnostic imaging. The selected candidate will perform computed tomography procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. Responsibilities: Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images. Operate and maintain CT and related diagnostic imaging equipment. Follow department protocols, safety regulations, and infection control policies. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in rotating weekend and holiday schedules. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist . Proficiency with relevant CT equipment and imaging software. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations effectively. Education & Certifications: Valid NYS license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or radiation therapist (issued by NYSDOH). Post-primary certification in Computed Tomography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Required . BLS certification – Preferred.
