The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/ PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Education:High School Diploma. Certification:Must acquire one of the following certifications within nine (9) months of hire:Registered Medical Assistant,Certified Medical Assistant,Clinical Certified Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician Basic.
