Reporting directly to the Director of Talent and Total Rewards, this individual will provide diverse and highly confidential support for all functions of Human Resources which includes Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Benefits, Compensation, Employment/Recruitment and HRIS. The successful candidate will manage the front office and facilitate the smooth operation of the Human Resources office. Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years office experience preferably in Human Resources.
  • Excellent administrative, project management, interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • Excellent skill level with Microsoft Office Suite and Google products.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate all aspects of a highly diverse office with competing priorities.
  • Ability to be a contributing member of a highly functioning team.
  • Effective communication with Human Resources staff is essential.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and perform under pressure.
  • Ability to respond quickly and accurately to a wide variety of inquiries and requests, both internal and external.
  • Active listening and accurate knowledge of University policies and procedures are essential.
  • Interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
  • A degree in a relevant field may substitute, in part, for the work experience requirement.
  • The successful candidate for this position will be subject to a pre-employment background check.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR systems (i.e., Banner and NEOED) is desired.
