WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Manage US Tax compliance and provision process and other governance matters for RBC and affiliated companies doing business in the US. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Manage tax compliance process including review of federal, state and local income tax return returns, quarterly estimates and extensions. Review monthly tax provision calculations including quarterly Head Office reporting and year-end financial statement disclosures. Manage and respond to tax notices and tax audits, including prepare/review responses and interacting with tax authorities. Assist with tax projects as assigned. Support and/or lead efforts to improve tax processes and leverage technology where applicable. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have:Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or tax. Minimum 8-10 years of corporate tax experience in a Big Four or other public accounting firm or equivalent industry experience. Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
