The Director of Institutional Research is responsible for the preparation, dissemination, and management of information necessary for institutional and specialty accreditations, public accountability, internal and external reporting, such as program review or student learning outcomes assessment, and support for strategic planning initiatives, as well as additional research about the institution. The director will oversee the Universitys data governance program and, accordingly, will play a key role in empowering members of the community to use and understand data. The director reports to the Assistant Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment. Duties and Responsibilities Data Reporting and Surveys Serve as the IPEDS Keyholder. Oversee the completion of IPEDS surveys, ensuring the accuracy of data submitted, and utilization of the IPEDS reporting tools to retrieve comparable data on other institutions for benchmarking purposes.
