This group provides engineering support of maintenance and takes the lead inresolving station equipment issues, and interfaces with fleet component engineering to resolve componentissues.Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, direction, and oversight for the Maintenance Support Engineering Unit.
  • Balances multiple competing duties/assignments that vary on a daily basis to prioritize and drive issue resolution.
  • Coordinates troubleshooting in a broad range of situations, including unfamiliar tasks.
  • Works under short deadlines with stakeholders from multiple organizations.
  • Makes accurate risk-based decisions on prioritization of work.
  • Teams with offsite engineering subject matter experts to daily site support.
  • Provides technical oversight of engineering deliverables.
Basic/Required Qualification
  • Basic/Required Qualification:
  • BS in Engineering or Related Science from an ABET Accredited University.
  • 4 years of related experience which includes at least 1 year of nuclear power plant experience and 0.25 years on-site experience.
Desired Qualifications
  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • SRO or SRO Certification
  • 2 years of nuclear power plant experience
  • 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience
