This group provides engineering support of maintenance and takes the lead inresolving station equipment issues, and interfaces with fleet component engineering to resolve componentissues.Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, direction, and oversight for the Maintenance Support Engineering Unit.
- Balances multiple competing duties/assignments that vary on a daily basis to prioritize and drive issue resolution.
- Coordinates troubleshooting in a broad range of situations, including unfamiliar tasks.
- Works under short deadlines with stakeholders from multiple organizations.
- Makes accurate risk-based decisions on prioritization of work.
- Teams with offsite engineering subject matter experts to daily site support.
- Provides technical oversight of engineering deliverables.
Basic/Required Qualification
- Basic/Required Qualification:
- BS in Engineering or Related Science from an ABET Accredited University.
- 4 years of related experience which includes at least 1 year of nuclear power plant experience and 0.25 years on-site experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Professional Engineer
- SRO or SRO Certification
- 2 years of nuclear power plant experience
- 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience
