💡 Job Summary:

Henry Ford Genesys Hospital is hiring experienced Med/Surg Float Pool RNs for a 13-week contract. Nurses will float across multiple units and should be comfortable adapting to various patient populations. You'll provide high-quality care using the nursing process and support interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic hospital setting.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
• Float between multiple units based on staffing needs
• Adapt to a variety of specialties and patient ratios

🛏️ Units Covered & Ratios:

RNs may be floated every 4 hours across the following units:

• 2ST, CVC: 1:4 up to 1:6
• Rehab: 1:6 (up to 1:7–1:8 during occasional high volume)
• 2SA, 4S, 4N, OBS: 1:5 (up to 1:7–1:8 occasionally)

✅ Requirements:

• Active MI RN License (Compact accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent relevant Med/Surg experience
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS (AHA only)
• Nice to Have: NIHSS, flexibility with float units

💰 Pay Package:

• Total Weekly Gross: $2,042.00
  • Taxable W2: $432.00/week ($12/hr)
  • Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,610.00/week ($44.72/hr)
• Total Hourly Equivalent: $56.72/hr
