Position: Quality Manager
Location: Nashua, NH or Santa Clara, CA
Amphenol High Speed Products Group is a market leader in high-speed, high-bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market, including Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, and more. Our products enable the electronics revolution and are key for major Tier 1 OEMs worldwide. Our headquarters are in Nashua, NH, with design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally. We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our team at either our Nashua or Santa Clara site, which will involve significant customer interaction.
Responsibilities:
Manage product and process quality, focusing on new product introduction and legacy volume production, to ensure customer satisfaction and meet business metrics.Oversee all quality aspects of customer and supplier relationships, including corrective action processes.Analyze quality data with site quality engineers or managers and recommend improvements aligned with business goals.Lead continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing teams.Manage customer quality requirements through documentation review, process capability assessments, and participation in phase gate reviews.Lead quality planning for customer programs with cross-functional teams globally.Conduct regular quality toolbox training for quality teams.Develop and deliver quality training for other groups not directly focused on quality engineering.Assess quality events at OEM/CM facilities as needed.Travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.Proven leadership in continuous improvement and quality management programs (DMAIC, 8D).Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.Proficiency in Minitab or similar statistical software.Understanding of product documentation and GD&T.Knowledge of semiconductor and interconnect manufacturing processes and standards.Excellent communication and customer interface skills.Amphenol Corporation is committed to being an excellent employer, supporting our employees and customers, and offering career growth within a global organization.
