Nurse Manager – Labor and Delivery - Full Time Permanent

Location: Seattle, WashingtonShift: Day ShiftBase Salary: USD $94,806 to $178,256

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit. This role is accountable for the overall management and leadership of a patient care unit within Nursing Services. The Nurse Manager will oversee all clinical and operational activities, ensuring high-quality care and fostering a collaborative environment among diverse provider and caregiver teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Collaborate with the Senior L&D Manager and Clinical Supervisor to manage departmental operations.
• Share responsibility for quality improvement, financial performance, staffing, and enhancing patient and caregiver experience.
• Promote a culture of engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution, or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a commitment to obtain BSN within two years of hire.
• Active Washington State Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
• At least 1 year of first-line management experience.
