ACV Auctions is seeking an enthusiastic Vehicle Condition Inspector to join our growing company. As an inspector, you will be the face of our company, demonstrating extensive knowledge about cars, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring meticulous inspection standards. Our inspectors support our commitment to Trust, Transparency, Credibility, and Customer Service by delivering high-quality vehicle assessments.
Responsibilities:
Support efforts to enhance the customer experience.Conduct vehicle inspections at various locations, including dealerships and auctions.Prepare detailed reports on vehicle conditions and repair estimates.Assist in upselling and cross-selling services and products.Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers.Travel to inspect vehicles and upload inspection data and photos.List vehicles for sale on the auction platform and register dealerships as buyers.Perform additional duties as assigned.Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in the automobile field, with knowledge of body, paint, and mechanical repairs, along with customer service experience.Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills.Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.Knowledge of relevant software and web-based applications.Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles.Good vision to identify small defects on vehicles.Our company values diversity and inclusion, and we are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
