The Accounting Manager - Family Office manages daily accounting and treasury operations for the Family Office (FO). The manager is responsible for supervising the accounting staff and maintaining internal controls. This position requires good judgment in planning and achieving the department's goals.

This position reports in-office 5 days a week, 8 am - 5 pm, at the Glen Mills, PA headquarters.
Essential Functions
- Report to the VP, Family Office Controller.
- Review and approve daily transactions and ensure timely, accurate accounting entries.
- Lead month-end closing for FO entities, trusts, and individuals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate financial reporting, including trust statements, and communicate results clearly.
- Manage intercompany billing and timely settlements.
- Review vendor invoices and coding.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and analytical reports.
- Monitor cash positions, forecast short-term cash needs, and ensure accurate transactions.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash efficiency.
- Maintain proper financial data, adhere to laws, regulations, GAAP, and policies.
- Document and update accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain internal controls and assist with risk management.
- Support investment performance reporting and trust compliance processes.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper record-keeping of all communications and data.
- Train, mentor, supervise staff, and conduct performance reviews.
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience; public accounting background preferred.
