Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to efficiently manage the movement, storage, and tracking of materials within our state-of-the-art facility. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of production lines and maintaining accurate inventory records.ResponsibilitiesTransport raw materials, parts, and finished products throughout the facility to designated areas, including the production floor, warehouse, and shipping areas.Supply production lines with materials needed to meet manufacturing schedules and ensure uninterrupted production.Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.Properly label and store materials in assigned locations, optimizing space and ensuring easy accessibility.Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.Participate in efforts to improve material handling processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.Essential SkillsExperience using RF scanners to track materials coming in and out of inventory.Ability to document and track where materials are stored and ensure accurate inventory documentation.Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling.1-2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.Familiarity with ERP systems, with EPICOR being a plus.High school diploma or equivalent.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in an HVAC or manufacturing environment.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.Why Work Here?Join a fast-growing, dynamic environment where your entrepreneurial spirit is recognized. Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required, and climb portable ladders. Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required.
