Coastal Carolina Animal Hospital is located in the beautiful coastal town of Wilmington, NC (yep, just minutes from the beach ) and we are looking for a full-time, passionate, Veterinary Receptionist to join our team of animal-loving superheroes. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Checks patient medical records for past histories, enters in practice management software
  • Greet clients, answer multi-line phone calls, and respond to digital communication with professionalism
  • Provides excellent customer service by proactively and professionally taking care of client's concerns and needs
  • Maintains scheduling and patient medical records in management software
  • Maintains client educational material and reviews hospital policies with clients
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Manage prescription refill requests and relay messages to medical team
  • Performs departmental housekeeping duties
  • Collects and processes payments within the medical practice software
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The employee must be able to multitask well in a high paced environment. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
