Job Description & RequirementsJob Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN – 12-Hour DaysFacility Type: Level II Trauma Center | 340-bed hospitalContract Length: 13 WeeksStart Date: ASAPShift: 12-Hour Days (07:00 – 19:30)Weekly Hours: 36 GSA hours/weekScrub Colors: TBDPosition DetailsUnit: Cardiac Catheterization LabOn-Call Requirement: Yes – 6 to 8 days per 6-week scheduleFloat: To be determinedWeekends/Holidays: Required as needed per call scheduleMinimum QualificationsExperience:Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience specifically in a Cardiac Cath LabLicensure:KY RN license or Compact State RN licenseCertifications:AHA BLSAHA ACLSNIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)Charting System:EPIC experience requiredIdeal Candidate TraitsIndependent, strong clinical judgment in a high-acuity settingResilient and able to adapt well to changeEffective communicator and team playerComfortable in a fast-paced environmentCall Back potential exists during on-call shiftsNo guaranteed hours during orientation weekGuaranteed hours resume after orientation except during holidays if the unit is closed
