Salary: $17.55 - $23.79 Hourly Location : Battle Creek, MI Job Type: Full-Time Job Number: 2025-00057 Department: Circuit Court Opening Date: 07/22/2025 Bargaining Unit: TPOAM-CIRCUIT Job Summary Under the supervision of the assigned supervisor, performs a variety of clerical tasks involved in processing mail, closing case files, and processing domestic relations cases. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail. Bundles outgoing mail and delivers to mail room for mailing.
- Assists in closing case files.
- Schedules cases in accordance with the master calendar and sends notices to clients. Mails proposed orders to appropriate parties.
- Assists in processing tax intercepts.
- Assists in other areas of the court when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Three to six months of general office experience. Ability to type and operate a computer terminal and other general office equipment.
