Pay Rate: $48 - $60/hr

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and execute validation plans, including IQ of process equipment and OQ/PQ of manufacturing processes.
- Lead manufacturing implementation of sustaining design initiatives.
- Detect and execute process improvements using Lean tools and methodologies.
- Translate complex technical issues into digestible summaries for stakeholders.
- Lead troubleshooting to quickly identify and implement solutions.
- Author and revise key documentation such as process flowcharts, PFMEAs, and process control plans.
- Apply and facilitate LEAN practices and Kaizen events.
- Work with contract manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate across departments including R&D, Procurement, QA, RA, and Field Service.
- Resolve supplier quality issues with Quality Engineering.
- Monitor product line quality and field performance; identify and resolve trends/issues.
- Support and comply with Quality Policy and Quality System procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 7+ years in Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Strong validation experience including statistics-based protocol/report authorship.
- Medical device industry experience required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient with Lean Manufacturing: 5S, VSM, Kanban, SMED, GEMBA, KPI management.
- Skilled in PLM (e.g., AGILE) and ERP (Oracle preferred).
- Preferred: LABVIEW, SolidWorks CAD experience.
- Strong project management and cross-functional team leadership abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to mechanical parts, vibration, noise, chemicals, high voltage, and radiation equipment.
- Required to wear safety shoes in designated areas.
