Job Overview:

We're seeking a 12 week Temporary Training Specialist (Manufacturing) to help strengthen the capabilities of our operations team members. This individual will focus on hands-on, job-specific training-working side-by-side with new and existing employees to ensure they meet quality, process, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate structured, in-person job training using prepared content and guides.
  • Deliver training to roles such as Material Handlers, Forklift Operators, and Packaging Clerks within a production environment.
  • Collaborate closely with team leaders to align daily/weekly training objectives.
  • Adapt and improve training content based on participant feedback and operational observations.
  • Use an interactive training approach to build skills and reinforce standards.
  • Monitor and assess trainees' grasp of key processes and safety expectations.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance.
  • Ensure completion of onboarding and mandatory safety training for new hires.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required; additional education in HR, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, especially in manufacturing training roles.
  • Past experience in a temporary training assignment is a plus.
  • Comfortable using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Clear communicator, with the ability to adjust style based on the audience.
  • Skilled in evaluating learner performance and improving training outcomes.
  • Familiar with both traditional and modern training delivery methods.

Schedule & Pay Info:

  • Pay Range: $27-$31/hr, based on experience.
  • Hours: Primarily Mon-Thu, 8:00am-4:30pm; half-day on Fridays. Flexibility: Occasionally (approx. 15% of the time), shift may adjust to approx. 11:30am-7:00pm to support evening team members.
  • Assignment Duration: Temporary (12 weeks guaranteed).
  • Work Environment: Onsite in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing/warehouse space. PPE (safety glasses and steel-toe footwear) is required.
